Welcome to my web site! Lots of big changes this year! I've been really getting into doing watercolors and will be offering original works as well as matted and/or framed prints (I'm suuuuuper excited about this!!) My work is generally a bit quirky, fun and colorful and definitely reflects my obsession with weird little houses. But I paint pretty much anything from coastal scenes to still life. But I'm getting a great response so far and that always makes any artist happy :) These will be listed as I paint them. All prints are sold matted in a clear cello sleeve and ready to display as they are. Frames will also be available in the options for each listing. I'll also be doing all sorts of new things like Greeting Cards (singles and boxed sets), Gift Tags and whatever other fun stuff I can think of!

I'm still trying to phase out my Etsy shops and this will ultimately become the only place I sell on line. It's not an easy transition but it'll eventually happen. And 1000 "Thank Yous" for being here!

Moving up in the world means different things to different people. For Gnestor it means having a 2nd story (for the wee ones) and an attached workshop to do gnome things in.

These make a really easy gift for those who have little space or simply have everything. Perched on a computer desk, window ledge or in a little plant. Makes a great housewarming gift or even something a bit more meaningful than a bottle of wine (and would last a lot longer!) Collect them and make a little village all in a few inches of space!
All of my houses are hand-formed with no molds of any kind. Many of my tools are also handmade or from found objects to help achieve a unique look. I make it a point to make them adorable from all angles so even the neighbors have a nice view ♥

About my ceramics:
I use an earthenware clay with many brightly colored glazes. I make every item by hand with minimal tools, many of which I made myself. These get fired to nearly 2000 degrees, as many as 4 times (depending on the glazes used) Each piece is one of a kind, no molds are used to create these. I try to go the extra mile by making them highly detailed so you can almost imagine a little being living inside, quite happily. All with the goal of bringing a smile to people's faces :)
