Welcome to my web site! Lots of big changes this year! I've been really getting into doing watercolors and will be offering original works as well as matted and/or framed prints (I'm suuuuuper excited about this!!) My work is generally a bit quirky, fun and colorful and definitely reflects my obsession with weird little houses. But I paint pretty much anything from coastal scenes to still life. But I'm getting a great response so far and that always makes any artist happy :) These will be listed as I paint them. All prints are sold matted in a clear cello sleeve and ready to display as they are. Frames will also be available in the options for each listing. I'll also be doing all sorts of new things like Greeting Cards (singles and boxed sets), Gift Tags and whatever other fun stuff I can think of!

So please do check them out and pop back in occasionally to see new work as it's listed!

I'm still trying to phase out my Etsy shops and this will ultimately become the only place I sell on line. It's not an easy transition but it'll eventually happen. And 1000 "Thank Yous" for being here!

I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2025! ♥♥ Tracey

Fascination BIGGIES!

A reactive glass murrini that, once reduced, has an iridescent sheen that is just gorgeous! These are capable of producing beautiful Pinks, Purples, Golds and Greens and even a bit of orange in there :) Much prettier in person!

How Many: 15

Colors:  (after cooking) Yields different shades of pinks, greens and purples depending on reduction and heat intensities

Size: Approximately 5mm  across

COE: 104

♦ These require an actual flame to make the color reaction to happen. They can be used for fusing/enameling but the results will look as they do in their uncooked stage.

***Please note that I am NOT a fuser so I really can give no advice on the art of fusing whatsoever. I do know that many artists buy my murrini for fusing with much success. Mixing COEs can also be done in small amounts (in lampworking anyway. We do this quite often with no problems at all) But that is the extent of what I know. So please consult a book or an expert as to the exact process.

To use in flame working: These are made with a reactive glass so they'll need to be "struck" in the flame. Simply heat a spot on your bead, waft the murrini slice in the flame to warm it up a bit and stick it in the spot you want it in. Alternate heating and flattening until it's flush w/ the surface. Get the murrini EXTREMELY hot in an oxidizing flame then cool fast on a cold tool. Really let it cool down so there is no glow. Waft in the back of the flame to let the colors bloom! Works best covered in clear.
*Some experience with striking glass is best. Not a good beginner murrini
