Welcome to my web site! Lots of big changes this year! I've been really getting into doing watercolors and will be offering original works as well as matted and/or framed prints (I'm suuuuuper excited about this!!) My work is generally a bit quirky, fun and colorful and definitely reflects my obsession with weird little houses. But I paint pretty much anything from coastal scenes to still life. But I'm getting a great response so far and that always makes any artist happy :) These will be listed as I paint them. All prints are sold matted in a clear cello sleeve and ready to display as they are. Frames will also be available in the options for each listing. I'll also be doing all sorts of new things like Greeting Cards (singles and boxed sets), Gift Tags and whatever other fun stuff I can think of!
So please do check them out and pop back in occasionally to see new work as it's listed!
I'm still trying to phase out my Etsy shops and this will ultimately become the only place I sell on line. It's not an easy transition but it'll eventually happen. And 1000 "Thank Yous" for being here!
I wish you all a happy and prosperous 2025! ♥♥ Tracey
BIGGIES! Barnacle 15 Pcs...XL 5-7mm Lampwork Glass Bead Murrini 104 coe glass chip
Only 9 left in stock
Barnacle BIGGIES!... Now in bigger lots!
BIGGIES are larger diameter murrini that are great for fusing, enamel work or larger beads. Even in mosaics! (They make great flowers!) The nice thing about BIGGIES is that, being larger, they're a bit easier to handle and also the details of the layers, colors and stripes show up really well.
Made specially to work with my Sea Beads...the perfect compliment to Oceanic sea colors!!! Easy to work. Great for all applications (torch or kiln)
How Many: 15
Colors: Creams, Teal, Turquoise
Size: Ranges from 5mm-8mm across
COE: 104
To use: No special treatment for these babies. Simply heat a spot on your bead, waft the murrini slice in the flame to warm it up a but and stick it in the spot you want it in. Alternate warming and flattening until you get the look you want and that's that! More heat creates more mottling. Leave it as-is or top it with a clear blob for a lens effect. Try twisting the edges w/ a clear stringer, heat and drag through the center for a feathered look, the possibilities are endless!....Play!! Experiment! CREATE!
*Beads in the pictures (if any) are not included in the listing and are for demonstration purposes only
♦ Please not that I am NOT a fuser so I really can give no advice on the art of fusing whatsoever. I do know that many artists buy my murrini for fusing with much success. Mixing COEs can also be done in small amounts (in lampworking anyway. We do this quite often with no problems at all) But that is the extent of what I know. So please consult a book or an expert as to the exact process.
♦ Free Shipping on multiple orders! Pay for one, get as many more as you want for no extra shipping! These also ship free with any other order from the Beatlebaby shop :)
